I have always been interested in looking for answers to the important question of life: “Is this all there is to life? A few years of existence, then…..well, nothing at all…?”
When I was younger I used to go to church and I was even “confirmed” within the Church of England, but I couldn’t really find the answers I was looking for. Nothing provided me with the answers I craved. So I drifted off, went to University, and didn’t have much to do with religion for a while. I was always interested in other faiths and would have occasional conversations with fellow students about their beliefs, but nothing grabbed me.
Then a friend invited me along to a Christadelphian meeting to listen to a talk about Bible prophecy, and a few things struck a chord with me. I went again and again, and each time what I heard intrigued me. Here at last was a faith that made sense and appealed to me logically as well as spiritually.
Eventually I knew I wanted to be baptized – that was twenty years ago, and I am still certain I made the right choice!
